John 8.21-30
So he said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.” So the Jews said, “Will he kill himself, since he says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” He said to them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.” So they said to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been telling you from the beginning. I have much to say about you and much to judge, but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.” They did not understand that he had been speaking to them about the Father. So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” As he was saying these things, many believed in him.

Write Minds

Redeemer Cares Pantry donations
Next Sunday, bins will be at each exit for your donations to the pantry. Cereal & soups are needed. Please give when you can and take when you need.
Spring Study Groups
A men’s study group will begin on Tuesday, February 7 at 6:30am at the church building. They will be studying the theology of the Lord’s Prayer. There will be two women’s groups this Spring. One will meet at the church building in the meeting rooms beginning February 15 at 9:30am with childcare provided. The other will begin on February 16 at 7pm; meeting location TBD. Both women’s groups will be studying the Holy Spirit and His work in the lives of believers today. Sign up will begin next week.
DCES Dinner

Winter Seminar
Tonight at 6:30 is the last night for our Winter Seminar “Restoring Relationships.” We encourage you to come and bring your older children to this one-hour practical seminar dealing with how our relationship with God through Jesus affects all of our relationships with our neighbors and community. Child care is available for children grade 3 and under.
Church wide Ski Trip
Join us for a Church-wide Ski Day at Cataloochee Ski Area near Maggie Valley, NC. We will leave the church parking lot at 6:30am on February 25th. Ski for $65; snowboard for $76; lift ticket only, $46. You’ll also need money for meals. To register, please email jpsibley@gmail.com or call 238-5279.
