Wednesday, Nov. 22, 4:30pm

Dustin has been moved to an intermediate ICU. This does not indicate an improvement in his condition, but is the natural progression in situations like his. He continues to breathe on his own and is receiving nourishment through the feeding tube (PEG).

His cognitive condition is in no way changed.

Do be in prayer for Leigh Anne and the kids, as well as for Dustin’s parents and brothers, and for Leigh Anne’s family — tomorrow is Thanksgiving; we trust you will pray accordingly.

    Dear Salter Family,

You do not know me, nor I you. I’ve never met Dustin, and only heard of his injuries through the grapevine. But as I read of his condition, and look at the picture of your beautiful family, my heart breaks and my tears flow with you. The love and prayers of many brothers and sisters are with you. May the Lord grant you grace.

    In Christ’s Rich Love,

Thank you, Steve. And to all who continue to pray, thank you, too.

Leigh Anne: I wrote you last week and I think you may have tried to call me on my cell phone, but you didn’t leave a number to call you back. I was in Florida at the time, but am home now. I would love to talk with you, so please try again or I would love to call you back. My phone again is 425-941-1508. I have been praying for Dustin and you and all of you every day and I continue to hold out great hope before our beautiful and loving Father. I pray that He is sustaining your hope and trust in His love for Dustin and all of you. Much love and hope, Sharleen Larson

I was just praying for you again and wanted to let you know we have not let up. We will continue to storm the gates of Heaven with our petitions for your family. You are on my heart continuously.

I heard about your family through Glenn Lucke’s CommonGroundsOnline Web site. We have never met, but we have some mutual friends through the RTS-Orlando community. I work with Campus Crusade in Orlando. Just wanted you to know that I woke up Thanksgiving morning with your family on my mind. I have been praying every day for you, Leigh Ann, and for Dustin’s healing. Know that there are thousands of others standing before the Father with your names on our lips.
