Thank you so much for fasting and praying. In my prayer time last night for Dustin, the same thought came to me. I certainly will participate.

    Hi, Leigh Anne!
We here at Crossroads Church in Upper Darby, Pa. are also praying for you and Dustin. Monday nite is Women’s Prayer Time. Such a sweet time of fellowship and such a wonderful group of ladies! It truly is a “Sweet Hour of Prayer” as the hymn says.
We prayed, of course, for Dustin. Also, I have it on our TEAM (Together Experiencing A Ministry)prayer sheet, so we do have you and your family covered.
Haven’t heard from Judy Klein since before Thanksgiving, but I’m sure she’s in the Vanguard of Redeemer’s effort. She was an Upper Darby neighbor down the block for ten wonderful years. It was she who told me about Dustin. I hope you’ve gotten to know her, Mark, and their kids. They’re wonderful!
Full disclosure: my family can’t all fast. My husband’s diabetic, so that rules that out. But we can certainly pray and we certainly will.
I’ve never met you personally (I hope that changes) but I still say “Smile! God loves you and so do I.”

    Love to you and yours,
    Fran Froelich

  8. Diane McKinney Says:

    Dear Leigh Anne,
My husband, Steve, and I continue to pray for you and Dustin. I remember when our daughter,Meridith, was in the ICU with her TBI and was not responding as quickly as everyone hoped. I was at that time encouraged by a man whose daughter took a very long time to “wake up”. He was a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and later wrote a book about their journey. His daughter did in fact recover and is doing well today. Steve went to a meeting of Christian Lawyers to ask them to pray for Distin last week. Evelyn, our 2nd daughter continues to pray and misses you both there on Furman’s campus.
    In Christ, Diane McKinney

    Leigh Anne,
I love you so much and miss you and Dustin and the boys and Mere so much! I will be fasting and praying. I just had to let you know, you might already, but Bret and Cam put out their cd’s yesterday and on the inside was a dedication to Dustin. I can’t even express to you guys how much we love you in Fort Worth and miss you - and how you have changed so many lives. I’ll hopefully talk to you soon, much love and prayers your way -

I have been praying and fasting today for Dustin and your family. I, too, like so many others have great hope that the Lord will fully restore Dustin to you and your children, Leigh Anne. I heard another good report, today, of a young man in our area here in the Pacific Northwest who had a severe brain injury…was in a coma for many weeks…and did wake up and is doing very well today. There is MUCH to be hopeful for that our Gracious Father will do all things well concerning Dustin. Many many blessings on the Salter family.

  14. Laura Mitchell Says:

    Hello Leigh Anne and family,

We have never met; I heard of Dustin’s accident weeks ago from my former Furman roommate (’89), Laura J. I just wanted you to know that I am praying fervently for Dustin and your whole family as is my church (Trinity Worship Center, Burlington, NC). God’s peace to you…

As are we in Blacksburg! The Lord bless you and keep and continue to make His face to shine upon you, even through this present dark night. But Day is coming. I don’t know what it will look like, but it is coming.
