Tim hails from Memphis, TN and studied English at the University of Tennessee and theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. Prior to Furman he served as the RUF campus minster at Belhaven College. His most odd job was during college when he stocked catheters at a nursing home supply warehouse. In 2000, Tim married Rosie, a native of Pennsylvania. Together they have three ridiculously incredible children who all have June birthdays: Ellie (’03), Sam (’05) and Jillian (’08). Tim enjoys playing with his kids, sitting on the screened in porch with Rosie, extremely strong coffee, riding his bike, black beans & rice, blue shirts, and the Appalachain Mountains.
