Dear Redeemer,

I once heard of a pastor who said from the pulpit, “You are not here to help me do my ministry, I am here to help equip you for the work of ministry.”  The same would apply, not only about the pastor of the church, but for the officers of the church as well.  The officers are nominated and elected by you to help equip you for ministry.

You have developed these “ministry teams” to allow you the opportunity to do ministry that best fit your giftedness. Please consider how you are gifted and which team will provide the best area of equipping for you.  We really do believe that this is your church, ministry, and responsibility and want to help you explore, experience, grow, and share your giftedness!

I ask also that you pray for the Team leaders and all of those who God raises up to be involved.  Pray that God would give us a spirit of shared ministry and a heart to see the gospel flourish in word and in deed.
